Jalopy stores settings as binary files inside its settings directory. The files are not directly editable, instead a GUI tool is provided for configuration that lets you import/export code conventions to share your settings in a textual format.
In order to export your settings, follow the steps as described below:
Open the preferences/settings dialog (refer to the documentation for your Plug-in in the Plug-ins part of the user’s guide if you don’t know how to do it, look for sections called "Integration")
Select the Jalopy item to display the settings page with the configuration profile settings.
Press the Export... button to open the export dialog
Here you can specify the file where your settings should be written. You can either type one directly into the text field.
Or when you’ve exported your settings already, you might simply choose from the last ten exported files via the dropdown list. Click the arrow button on the right to open the history with the export destintations and select the one you want
If you want to browse the file system instead, you can press the Choose... button on the lower right of the export dialog and select the file to export the settings to
After you’ve made your choice, press the Export button to flush the settings to disk
